The Spider, tentatively named, is an unproven morph of the Irian Jaya carpet (Morelia spilota variegata). Their ground color is gold with a reduced chocolate brown pattern.  The dorsal has a very unusual pin-stripe, which on some specimens runs the length of the entire body. Young Spiders hatch out red and have pied-white speckles that come up from the laterals. We, and two other well known US breeders, hope to prove out this mutation very soon!  Stay tuned!
