As the name suggests, the Tiger-Jaguar is the result of breeding a Tiger carpet with a Jaguar carpet (both Morelia spilota msdowelli). This unique combination yields offspring with wide dorsal striping and vibrant coloration. The pattern on the laterals often forms elongated and irregular stripes. The ground color is typically a soft butter-yellow or buckskin. The very first Tiger-Jaguar was produced here at our facility in '04. It was a joint project between us and our close friend, Jason Baylin. We bred one of his beautiful adult female Tigers with one of our adult male Jaguars. In '07 we went on to produce the first Super-Tiger Jaguars. This was accomplished by taking our first Tiger-Jaguar and breeding her back to a male Tiger. Visit our Super-Tiger Jaguar page for more details.
